The towel side works great for drying and the design side is soooo soft! I have used these towels since my first day home with my baby girl. It worked great for giving sponge baths when she was first born- I would lay her in on the towel, fill a bowl of water and wash one body part and then dry with the sides of the towel, etc...It worked great! The terry side is nice and soft to dry the baby with, however, the real luxury is the extra soft outer lining. I thought it a shame that the baby didn't get to experience this soft touch on her skin, so I decided to wrap her in it with the outer lining on the inside. It wouldn't dry a baby but I'm sure the softness felt great on her dry skin.The quality of the towel is excellent. It's still in great condition after having washed it many times. I have given this wrap only 4* as I thought it was on the small side. My daughter is average size but we struggled using it before she was 3 months old. I was sorry to have to pack it away so soon. Great wrap for newborns, just not big enough for bigger or older infants. |
